Serve Jesus at Florida A&M University

We need leaders to disciple students at the top ranked public Historically Black University in the United States

The Navigators are disciples making disciples. would you Join us to do that at florida a&m University?

Do you long to see the gospel transform the lives of university students? We’re looking for men and women like you to serve on a college campus for one or two years, sharing Christ and helping believers grow toward maturity.

During that time you’ll have the opportunity to shape a new program, invest in the lives of students, see firsthand as Christ changes the lives of college students, and grow in your personal relationship with Christ.

We are specifically looking for a few leaders interested in helping pioneer our EDGE Corps program at Florida A&M University.

A Note from the Campus Leader

What up! My name is Loyce.

I lead our Navigators group at Florida A&M University (FAMU)

I am currently in my fifth year on staff with The Navigators and originally from Missouri and Illinois. Before joining staff with The Navigators, I was a high school social sciences teacher in Jacksonville, FL. In the Fall of 2020 I moved to Tallahassee, FL to begin a new Navigators collegiate ministry at FAMU.

At FAMU, plenty of students come to college with knowledge of Jesus. Yet, many do not know what it means to be a disciple of Jesus or make disciples. We equip students to understand and deepen their walk with Jesus and to share the gospel, helping them become disciplemakers. Right now, there are about 30 students attending our Navigator Bible study. They're growing in their relationship with God, learning what it means to invest in others through evangelism and Life-to-Life discipleship.

Our biggest need is more leaders to come alongside these students and lead by example. Is God calling you to join me and advance the gospel on campus at FAMU?

We are praying that the Lord would ignite a disciplemaking movement that would impact FAMU and the world and we want you to be part of that!
